As a single mom, BMA has been my weekly reward to myself!! My dear friend Helen was trying for months to get me out to the beach to participate… once I did I was hooked!! I’ve never worked out with a smile on my face before… the energy and the camaraderie of the group is amazing. The instructors are tough yet encouraging and loving versus the drill sergeant approach that is the standard at boot camps around town, which has never worked for me. I work way too hard to pay someone to yell at me!

Working with Bing has truly been amazing… though it’s a group workout I always feel like it is a personal training session specifically geared towards my personal needs. I can’t wait for the workouts to resume in November!

Thanks BMA… you have helped me get within five pounds of my goal weight since having my son! I know with your continued guidance I will attain my goal and start the holidays ready for bikini season… in December! What else could a girl ask for?

ONE-ON-ONE WORKOUTS


Depending on your goals, physical fitness level and interests, your trainer will design a custom-fit program perfect for you. When you decide to work with a BMA trainer, you can book an appointment at a time that is convenient for you. You can train indoors or out. Perhaps you'd like to start a running program, go hiking or train for a triathlon. It's your session and we want to accommodate your goals, needs, and interests. All one-on-one sessions are 60 minutes. A fitness test and consultation will be conducted during your first session, with results tracked every two weeks.
Cost varies depending on trainer $65-100 per hour

The Mecca

Experience a private session at Gold’s Gym in Venice, where bodybuilding truly began. Realize your strength and master fitness goals with the most up-to-date strength training equipment the industry has to offer.

Recess in the Park

Play away the pounds and work out in the park! Using gravity and body weight as resistance is just as effective as any machine you’d find at the gym. This outdoor workout incorporates medicine balls, resistance ropes and any other equipment necessary for your fitness goals and needs. So ditch the dumbbells and make friendly with a park bench or nearby tree for this playful yet intensive workout.

The Great Outdoors

Nature repressed or obsessed? Breathe in fresh air and romp in Mother Nature’s backyard with one of these stimulating workouts:

• Cycle to nearby Santa Monica Mountains, then hike inclining slopes in this radical cardio, muscle-toning workout led by BMA co-founder Spase Trajkovski, competitive cyclist and trainer to pro-cyclists.

• Hike the trails of Temescal Canyon and combine body weight exercises with yoga for an ultimate total body workout led by BMA trainer Jerry Montoya, experienced hiker and mountain climber.

• Ocean workouts—tone muscles from head to toe while balancing on a stand-up paddle surfboard, or perform swimming and paddling intervals in the sea in this challenging yet invigorating workout. Surf lessons also available upon request.

Takin’ it to the Beach

Use BMA specialty equipment in conjunction with the resistance of the soft sand to tone muscles and burn fat in this high-intensity circuit and strength training workout.

Step up your Game

High level sports conditioning workout, great for all athletes from novice to pro. Please consult a BMA trainer for more information on how this workout can be catered to your sports training needs.




GROUP TRAINING


Studies show that people who work out in groups are more successful in sticking to their workout program. It enhances accountability, structure, team building and bonding. The greatest motivator is the support of the group. BMA group workouts generally include rigorous fat burning exercises, toning, body conditioning, stretching and cardio. Great workouts, great fun! Group classes meet 1x per week, for 12-weeks and are 60 minutes long.
$15 per/person.

Saturday Morning Beach Workout: Our most popular group workout! This is not group-specific. Everyone is welcome. This workout is challenging yet appropriate for all fitness levels.

Playing Hooky: Play hooky from the office, but with the whole office in this intense yet fun corporate group workout on the beach in Venice. This workout is packed with FUN-damental group exercises that will build trust, teamwork and company spirit—great for building company muscle as well as your own.

Mommy and Me: Come to Palisades Park in Santa Monica with baby stroller in tow to tone postpartum muscles, bond with baby and meet new friends in this powerfully motivating total body workout.

FOOD SERVICES


Nutrition Counseling

Weekly plans for everyday meal guidance. We create a realistic, sensible and feasible eating plan for you. You will learn nutrition tips, what does/doesn’t work for your body and how to make good decisions for yourself. We can provide you with suggested menus, recipes and grocery shopping lists.
$50 per week.

Delivered Meals

You are what you eat! BMA now provides fresh, delicious, low-calorie, healthy meals catered for your specific needs and delivered right to your door. Eat well, be well—it’s that simple. BMA clients who’ve seen real results know how monumental it is to maintain a balanced diet. What used to be a private service to LA-based production companies is now available to all BMA clients with our Meal Delivery service. Using her Asian influences, Chef Kim Loc, partner to BMA founder, Bing Dinh, creates delicious and nutritious meals. Chef Loc’s use of herbs and spices in place of butter and oil, combined with locally grown vegetables, makes these meals especially tasty and great for your nutrition program.
$15 per meal. A delivery fee may apply to certain areas.
